  1. What can I do to improve my CV?

The general rule of thumb is to keep it simple, concise, easy to read and focused on identifying your skills. The most important thing is that it looks professional and clear and that we'll be able to view and read it.

Ensure that your c.v. includes information on where you meet the criteria for the role which can be found in the job description and person specification.  It should also be completely accurate with no grammatical errors, spelling mistakes or typos.  You could ask someone to have a read through before submitting if helpful.

A CV should be no longer than two pages. In fact, the fewer pages the better, so you should be concise in your information and think carefully about the words or phrases you use.

  1. Can I apply for more than one position?

Yes, but please make sure that you only apply for positions that you have the experience, knowledge and skills for.

  1. Can I complete the application in stages?

Yes, you can save and exit at any time. However, as we have streamlined our applicant process, we would recommend doing it in one go and not leaving it until the closing date.

  1. I’m disabled – do I have to tell you about this?

There is no obligation at all for you to tell us. However, if you require reasonable adjustments for your assessment or interview we would ask that you make our HR team aware to ensure that these adjustments can be considered.  You can contact our HR team via email at [email protected] or via telephone on 028 25 641212 and a member of the HR team will be happy to assist you.  All requests will be dealt with in confidence.

  1. Can I request a reasonable adjustment?

Of course. Reasonable adjustments may include extra time for a task and exercise, having the questions to hand at the same time they are asked, rest breaks, location of the assessment, alternative format for materials, interpreter, specific equipment and technology etc.

If you want to have a chat with us about anything you may need during the selection process you can contact our HR team via email at [email protected] or via telephone on 028 25 641212 and a member of the HR team will be happy to assist you.  All requests will be dealt with in confidence.
