Strategic Purchasing
Strategic purchasing plays a vital role at Wrightbus, “planning, implementing, evaluating, and controlling strategic and operating purchasing decisions. Strategic procurement involves identifying key areas of spend within the business and identifying ways of adding value through the procurement processes.

Material Scheduling
With more than 5,000 different components required to complete a vehicle, the Scheduling Team are key to ensuring that production has everything they need, exactly when they need it. This team ensures that orders are placed in good time to give our supply chain partners the necessary lead time to be able to deliver on time – orders are then monitored and rescheduled if necessary. They arrange freight, customs clearance if necessary and safe delivery of all materials on time into our Stores Hub. They support production and ultimately our company’s ability to meet our promise dates to customers.
